Woke up pretty early, at 6:30am and I just could not sleep anymore. Wanted to finish putting up the last few decorations on the tree, like my birdies and a couple more baubles. It was still completely dark outside and so I switched the Christmas tree lights on πΊ Murli was still soooo sleepy in that picture!

After Murli had her breakfast, she relaxed while watching me finish decorating the tree.
This whole week our city was covered in a thick fog, and it’s the same today. But at the same time it’s pretty lovely, since the Christmas lights are on everywhere, including many windows where people put lights and decorations. It’s definitely more “Christmasy” this way, than last year, where we had sunshine and 20Β°C outside, where it felt like we’re in the middle of spring.
Have a lovely day for now everyone!β€οΈ
Love the tree lights! We do not have that style here….very pretty. And the tree looks purrfect! And Murli looks very pleased with everything!!!!

Awww thank you! πYes our style here is a bit different. And the lights are actually pretty old πΈ A remnant of my childhood even! They made stuff work forever back then πΉπ They still work just fine! Love them!
Oh Murli totally approves! She LOVES the tree! She won’t be happy when it’s gone again π Neither will I, because I love it too!
Getting to my reply so late again. It’s half an hour past midnight here now π But I really wanted to get to my bloggie! Miss talking with you and the littul Purrince! And so does Murli!
I have a couple of posts in my drafts. Want to post them tomorrow! And catch up to everyone as well!
We’re thinking of you! Hugs, pawhugz & purrs! *nose bumpzzz* & *nose kissezzz* Murli πΈππππΎ

I hear you about things being made better!!! Trust me I remember when things lasted 30 yrs. I still have an iron I was given when I was 19>>>works just fine for ironing! Crock pot lasted 25 yrs.
Now things are useless after 2-3 years. *sighs*
We missed both of you also, but are glad you & your Papa & Murli had such a lovely holiday……

Absolutely! I remember so much stuff that worked forever! Pretty much everything we had back then worked for decades! Just amazing. Back then companies build stuff in our countries and companies were trying everything to make the best quality. Nowadays production is shipped to 3rd world countries and produced with exploited workers and with the cheapest components they can find. It’s all about maximizing profits for people that are already insanely rich and no matter any negative consequences on the planet or living beings. Sad really. I hope that this will change again.
I still have a couple of things that are older than me and still work just fine lol! Back then they also made stuff so it can be easily opened and fixed if needed. But now everything is meant to be thrown out when broken. Sigh… Stupid globalization π
Yeah now you’re lucky if something lasts 3 years!
Aww I’m glad I can chat with you two again πΈπ Murli &! I are going to sleep now. It’s 30 minutes past midnight lol. Wishing you both a lovely day! Good night & keep warm!
((((hugs)))) & lots of love & purrrs πΎNatascha & Murli πππ

Hello Natascha & Murli….today we are having a blizzard outside! I did shovel mine & the neighbor’s patio…..but it is all snowed in again. I can’t shovel the pathways tho’. My lower back & bones are too sore for any of that.
As for things lasting: I still have clothes from the 80’s that not only fit but look fabulous!
Clothes nowadays are cheap unless one pays a Premium price….
I will sue something until it breaks down. I could buy a new popcorn maker as the lid is a bit broken but I am still using the old one….it was gift from 2006? 2007?
How are you both doing today? I hope the migraine has subsided!!!
