It’s still been raining until yesterday, but at least today, the sun seems to try to come through. Another good thing is that the temperature went up a little bit, so it’s not feeling like fall anymore.
Samantha has been watching the street for a while now. Normally, the sun would be shining into this window all morning until midday, but she only got a little bit of sun when the sun was trying to come through for a few minutes. Though, watching the street is interesting either way.
Thanks to the constant bad weather with it’s sudden changes, I’m having migraines almost every day. Today was no different when I woke up with yet another migraine. Thankfully though, the migraine was not severe. So I got up and took my Triptan medication for the migraine, made myself a cup of strong coffee and sat on the balcony for the fresh air. If I have a severe migraine, I go straight back to bed after taking the medicine, because I can’t bear anything else, but to lie still in the quiet darkness of the bedroom, with the window opened for fresh air.
With the cats on the balcony too, and the birds up and down from their feeder, it’s a great distraction until the medicine kicks in.
Sonic likes to sit just by the door inside when the weather isn’t good enough for his liking.

We were being watched as well, by a pigeon.
We have about 3 pairs of pigeons come by every day, it’s always the same ones. And one of them likes to sit on our balcony for a bit, always on the same spot, which is a highlight for Murli, because she is fascinated by pigeons.
My migraine is gone thankfully, and I hope it will be a day without rain. It looks good so far!

Lol! Thankfully only in their dreams, if at all. They’re so used to the birds and had birds close by all their lives. But they never get bored watching them, especially to pigeons 😆

We have rain over here as well, which our dog, Dante, hates as it means he can’t do as much as he wants. Like chasing our two resident pigeons, which we don’t encourage. He never chases the other birds, just the poor pigeons. lol xxx

Ugh, hope the rain stops soon for you and your dog! Lol so you have resident pigeons too! 😄 Oh poor pigeons 😆I’m really glad our cats are not going after the birds at all! They are more than happy to simply watch them. But they have seen birds close up like that for all their lives.

Good that it is getting warmer, we all need it! Hope your migraines stay off for a while! We had decent weather and quite warm here in London, I’m happy, but still have my cardigan with me! My cardigan is my best friend! 🙂

Yay! Glad you liked my post! Yes, it’s very green now, I guess the rain made everything grow a lot more. It went from being all bare from the winter to blossoming and being green quite quickly in March.

No the cats don’t go after them at all! That’s what’s so awesome and why I can have birdfeeders on the balcony. They just watch them and talk to them. They never even tried to go after them or even try to jump up there. They’re only interested in watching them. It’s kitty-TV to them 😂 The cats are used to birds flying by and being close all their lives. No worries, because I wouldn’t even put a feeder if there would be a risk to to the birds or the cats jumping on the railing of the balcony.

Hello Natascha: Sherri-Ellen here. What a pair we make! You with Migraines & me with Skeletal Hyperostosis…..my pain is like a full body migraine most days. I’m usually back in bed by 3 p.m. for a few hours. The weather does us no favours does it? At least it is Spring….good to see flowers & birds & squirrels & chipmunks once again.

Oh dear, yeah we seem to be quite the pair. I can relate at least a bit with your skeletal problems, because my joints have been deteriorating since puberty due to genetics. Especially my knees, hips & the discs in my back are bad. But I’m much better regarding those problems thanks to the strong pain medication I’m getting since about 2010. So it’s my migraine and fatigue that makes things difficult.
Though there’s days where I can’t walk right from the pain in my hip and or knee, if it’s too cold, or I made a bad movement.
Sounds absolutely debilitating, to have severe pain all over. I really hope the weather will be good for you soon!

no two ways about it! Thankfully the Codeine takes a lot of it away or at least masks it so I can sort of cope. I am sorry you too have Bone trouble…that is no fun & it does not ‘get better’. I hope your Doctor helps you; mine could not care less. I still do not have all the test results. I finally got thru to Receptionist on Friday but got no results because the Doctor was not there…it is ridiculous! I go Thursday for B12 shot & I am not leaving until I have ALL printouts in my hand for my file…..I am so fed up I could spit nails!
